Occasionally breast surgery doesn’t result in nice or natural results. While it is fair to say that no operation is perfect, there are times when for whatever the reason, results are unacceptable enough that a revision is necessary. One of Dr. Goodkind’s specialties is secondary breast revision.
WHAT IS A REVISIONARY BREAST SURGERY?
Revisions can address many issues. Usually there isn’t just one problem with the unacceptable result. Size too large or too small, level too high or low, position too close or far apart and consistency too firm or loose can be addressed.
WHAT IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR:
- A result caused by a combination of the above mentioned problems, worthy of the time, expense and risk to make the situation better.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- This is an outpatient procedure done under general anesthesia.
- There is usually minimal discomfort.
- Improvement in aesthetic results.
